Longfor•Qujiang Glory

The project is made up of more than 100 villas sitting 800 meters away from Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi’an. The project is located in close proximity to night-less cities in Datang and less than 1,000 meters from Datang Furong Yuan, and is surrounded by six national monuments, including Zhen Guan Cultural Plaza.

Longfor Qujiang Glory covers an area of about 34,795 sq.m. with developing total planned GFA of about 76,322 sq.m.. It features an imperial-style layout and is inspired by ancient Chinese palace design. It is square-shaped, echoing the ancient idea of “square earth” that gathers good vibes. The front and rear entrances sit along the main axis of the villas and offer villa-style privacy. Yet Longfor was not carried away by the square design. The middle axis is divided into three sections, with each featuring an inner garden. The villas spread over the two wings, oozing charm and splendor.

The even outline of the mountains running from the north to the south was taken into consideration when Longfor Qujiang Glory was designed. Three clusters of villas with views were created, with each featuring their self-styled observation towers. The architectural style was inspired by official residences in the north and green bricks were used to highlight a sense of solidity. Part of the rooftop villas feature a wooden exterior, resulting in special lighting effects and a distinctive contrast with the bushes in the gardens.

Traffic-wise, only underground roads are found in the villa zone as a way to separate cars from residents. Owners can drive their cars all the way into the underground car park, leaving the ground floor entirely to plants and people. The outside of Longfor Qujiang Glory is decked out with myriad plants. Here, architecture means the gardens, or one can say the gardens themselves are part of the architecture. Without plants and gardens, architecture has no raison d’etre. The front and rear courtyards of the villa zone are filled with plants, bushes, flowers and grass, which together form an intricate network of nature. Under the sun, one can feel the joy and energy brought by the four seasons

Longfor•Xi’an Fairy Castle

Leveraging on its property development experience in five major cities over the past 14 years, Longfor conducted intensive research into the Qujiang area and created yet another masterpiece Longfor Xi’an Fairy Castle. Born after Qujiang Glory, Longfor Xi’an Fairy Castle is a high-rise residential building that embodies Longfor’s masterly skills.

Located along Qujiang Boulevard (to the east of the Aquarium), Longfor Fairy Castle covers an area measuring about 68,939 sq.m. and has a total planned GFA of about 274,338 sq.m.. It boasts the beautiful views of Qujiang and is marked by its geographical strengths.

In creating the architectural layout, Longfor made full use of its substantial property development experience and took into account the market demand of Xi’an. The property features 12 high-rise buildings, which can accommodate 2,000 households. New skip floor elements are added to the flat floor to create cozy, semi-open space.

Two-room and three-room apartments measuring 80 to 140 sq.m. fully cater to the need of residents for a comfortable home. Inspirations were drawn from duplex houses, resulting in 5.8-meter-high double-layer units. The design that features rooms alternately laid out on the left and right along a north-south line also enriches the architectural style. An additional space measuring 13 to 32 meters square come as a gift, which is a rarity in the densely populated Qujiang.

Drawing inspiration from the five-layered gardens of its villa projects, Longfor created a garden for the project and transplanted trees to the site. This saves 10 years of efforts to grow new plants. The complex houses various sections with names which bear much resemblance to Longfor’s unique five-layered gardens. The ground floor, the residential buildings, the podiums and the walls of the buildings are decked out with plants to boost the green ration and enhance the quality of the living environment.
