Founded in Chongqing in 1994, Longfor Properties Co. Ltd. (Hong Kong Stock Exchange; Stock Code: 960) is a real estate company that strives for excellence and high quality and is known for its attention to detail. Headquartered in Beijing, Longfor has businesses encompassing three segments, namely real estate development, business operation and property management with more than 6,900 employees. The Company listed on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 19 November, 2009.

After a decade of development, Longfor has formed an all-in-one system capable of performing investment planning, project development, and commercial and residential property management operations. Its product offerings range from residential buildings, office buildings, high-rise apartment buildings, garden townhouses, luxury villas, as well as large scale shopping malls and business complex. The Company has built masterpieces in every product category.

Since 2004, through adopting a ‘Multiple Products, Regional Focus’ development strategy in key regions across the country, Longfor entered a new national expansion stage that involves a host of new cities, from the north to the south, and from coastal economic rings and key cities to the neighboring cities. It took advantage of the balance between multiple products and regional development strategy to achieve sustainable development. In every city where it has operations, Longfor sticks to the principle of that involves multiple projects and multiple products, with the aim of becoming a leading property developer in all these cities. Up until April, 2011, the Company has already expanded its development to 14 cities included Chongqing, Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Wuxi, Changzhou, Shenyang, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Dalian, Yantai, Yuxi and Ningbo.

In 2006, Longfor was listed among “Top 100 Real Estate Developers in the PRC Real Estate Industry” by the Ministry of Commerce and the China Real Estate Association., Longfor was consistently ranked number one in the “National Residential Customers’ Satisfaction Survey” for four years in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2009. In 2007, Longfor entered into the “Top 100 China Real Estate Enterprises for Tax Contribution”. In 2008, brand name “Longhu” was accredited by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce as a “Well-known Trademark in China”. Longfor was also recognized as the “Top 10 Brand Values in the PRC Real Estate Industry” as well as the “Top 10 Outstanding Property Service and Corporate Service Quality” by the State Development and Research Center in 2008 and 2009 consecutively. In 2011, the Group was ranked one of Top 10 among the leading 100 Chinese real estate companies in terms of scale, stability and synthetically strength.
